Ben Crenshaw
Crenshaw's Hall-of-Fame career was highlighted by his 1995 Masters
title. It was a remarkable and stirring victory for Crenshaw and fans
of his mentor Harvey Penick, who died only days before the
tournament. Crenshaw seemed to rely on his famous teacher claiming a
"15th club" in his bag. A three-time NCAA champion from 1971-73, Crenshaw was the Fred Haskins Award winner each of those years and was the Bob Jones Award winner in 1991. He was named captain of the 1999 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
