Fred Funk
Funk has gone from coaching to playing. He headed up the University of
Maryland program from 1982 to 88 before joining the tour
full-time. Funk is known as one of the straightest drivers on tour and
is usually among the leaders in that category. He picked up his first
PGA Tour win at the 1992 Shell Houston Open.
