Broyles, who had a heart attack several years ago, was taken to the emergency room at Baylor University Medical Center.

Doctors had not decided whether Broyles would be admitted, according to a spokeswoman who identified herself only as Gracie. She said the former Razobacks' football coach was fine "and perky, now that they're winning."

Arkansas led Texas 10-6 at the time, and went on to win 27-6.

Broyles was watching the game from a VIP box two levels above the press box when he felt tightness in his chest and thought he needed to go to a hospital, said a Cotton Bowl official who asked not to be identified.
