DALLAS -- Quarterback Charles Puleri was released Thursday by the Dallas
Cowboys, who also announced Randall Cunningham's signing.
Puleri was signed in March and had been working with the third-team offense
in minicamp and quarterback school. He spent six years in the World League and
the Arena League before getting his first opportunity with an NFL team.
The New Mexico State product backed up Rams quarterback Kurt Warner on the
Iowa Barnstormers in the Arena League.
