Into the summer: Pick a team, any team

June 15, 2001
SportsLine.com staff

Coaches are trying to escape for a quick vacation. Quarterbacks are finding rhythm with their receivers in informal workouts. Linemen are standing in the buffet line.

What we've got here are the college football dog days. After spring practice, before fall camp. Players lift weights, run bleachers, play catch. All very important stuff, which might make a difference in who gets to the national title game.

Two-a-days can't come fast enough, but until then, SportsLine.com helps you get ramped up and amped up for the 2001 season, with breakdowns of each conference and "Into the summer" updates for all 117 teams.

Yup, every team. Returning starters. Strengths. Weaknesses. Outlooks. And much more for the teams in the major conferences.

Just click on a conference in the chart, and follow that to a look at each team in the league.
