GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers signed free agent defensive end Matt Keneley on Monday after he had stints this season in the Arena Football League and XFL. The 6-foot-4, 286-pound Keneley played with Los Angeles in the XFL and then San Jose in the Arena League before joining the Packers. The 27-year-old was claimed on waivers by the Packers in February of last year from San Francisco but was let go by Green Bay in April. He also had NFL stints last season with Seattle and again with the 49ers. He was originally a seventh-round draft choice by the New York Giants in 1997.
