SHENYANG, China -- China, led by former U.S. coach Bora Milutinovic, beat the United Arab Emirates 3-0 Saturday in a 2002 World Cup qualifier. Milutinovic shook up his midfield, dropping two starters in favor of Qi Hong and Li Xiaopeng - who both scored. Li's goal came just two minutes into the game, and Qi made it 2-0 with a header in the 20th minute. Hao Haidong scored China's other goal in the 33rd. China (1-0) and UAE (1-1) are in Group B of Asian qualifying. The top team qualifies for next year's World Cup and the second-place team advances to playoffs for another berth.
