Chat Host: Please welcome New York Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn! Jason, who's in his fourth year in the NFL, is having an amazing year. The Giants are currently leading the NFC East with the help of Mr. Sehorn, leader of the "Big Blue Wrecking Crew!"

NYJasonSehorn: Hey guys! Whats up?

Chat Host: Hiya Jason. Thank you so much for joining us today. Here's your first question...

Question: How is the Qb situation working for you guys?

NYJasonSehorn: In regards to the QB situation, so far so good.

Chat Host: FROM donkeyboy: "Tell Sehorn that he hits like a ton of bricks, and it is a pleasure to see him nail guys twice his size"

NYJasonSehorn: Well, thank you. I do my best.

Question: Who do you think is better Jason, Kanell or Dave Brown? Who should start?

NYJasonSehorn: In regards to who should start, lets leave that up to the coaches and the one who wins.

Chat Host: Comment from TheBus: "Jason, Thanks for beating up on the "Cryboys" for me!"

NYJasonSehorn: Believe me when I tell you it was my pleasure!

Question: Amani Toomer ever going to start playing on offense or mostly just special teams?

NYJasonSehorn: Amani is just starting to figure things out. As soon as he becomes more confident in the offensive scheme of things, he will see more play time. For now, I'm glad he's where he is.

Question: How important was the Dallas game for you and your team?

NYJasonSehorn: The Dallas game enabled us to see that we could compete with the powers of the NFC East. It enabled our team to see what can happen when we play as a team.

Question: Has Coach Fassal been a big inflence on your team instead of Dan Reeves?

NYJasonSehorn: The biggest reason is the attitude. Coach Fassel has done a tremendous job of turning us into believers of ourselves. Until you win some games it's hard to have confidence. The past two years we were 5-11, 6-10 so obviously we didn't have a whole lot of confidence.

Question: Jason, who is the toughest reciever to defend against in the NFL and why?

NYJasonSehorn: For me, it's the smaller reciever -- the one who runs great routes. I would much rather play against big recievers because my size offsets their biggest attribute, their size.

Question: who was your fav. team growing up? did u alway dream to play pro ball?

NYJasonSehorn: My favorite team was the Raiders. I grew up in Sacramento and before they left for L.A., I used to follow them. Once they left I lost interest, and football was not something that I dreamed of doing. I was merely blessed with a lot of God-given ablility and made the most of the opportunities that I had.

Question: Hey Jason, being a PAC-10 guy, what do you think of Washington State this Year ?

NYJasonSehorn: They are to true essence of a sleeper team. I beleive they have a great shot at the Rose Bowl. It all depends on that last game of the year with Washington.

Question: How many sacks so far this year?

NYJasonSehorn: Only one, it seems like everytime I get close the QB seems to throw the ball away. Fortunately for our team, Strahan and Robert Harris are cleaning up with 7 and 6 respectively.

Question: How is the defensive team's chemistry coming along?

NYJasonSehorn: We have really come together as a unit with Percy, Tito, and Sam playing as well as they have. As far as Phillippi and myself are concerened, our job has been made easy by the pass rush of our D-line.

Question: What's your opinion of the AZ Cardinals? Any sympathy? Any hope?

NYJasonSehorn: The Cardinals have invented new ways to lose games. As far as this year is concerned their season is over. They now have the task of being spoilers. Maybe with Jake Plummer in, things will turn around. Oh by the way... NO SYMPATHY!

Question: How many years have you been in the leauge? Have you been with other teams besides the Giants?

NYJasonSehorn: This is my fourth year in the league, only my second as a starter. I seemed to be good for one thing my first two years -- collecting dust. No other teams. I was drafted in the second round of the '94 draft out of USC.

Question: What kind of music do you like? Do you get time to watch TV or go to the movies?

NYJasonSehorn: I see every movie there is. Let me give everybody a suggestion on a great movie to see -- "I know what you did last summer." As far as music, alternative.

Question: Do you feel that finally, the AFC is stronger this year, and has a good shot at winning the Super Bowl?

NYJasonSehorn: I don't think so. The NFC has been beating up on each other for the early part of the season. Now that the season is under way, the AFC is comming back to earth. New England lost to the Jets, Denver lost to the Raiders and Jacksonville lost to the Cowboys. I will say this, the AFC is much stronger than in the past

Question: Jason, I'm biased. I say the Giants are going to Super Bowl. How do you feel? How does the team feel? What are the team's realistic expectations?

NYJasonSehorn: The realistic expectations right know are for us to make it to the play-offs and then well re-evaluate the situation. We do however plan on doing our part to get there, but after a 6-10 season a realistic goal for us was to make the playoffs

Question: As a cornerback, was there any pity, sympathy for Jerry Rice?

NYJasonSehorn: There is always sympathy when somebody gets hurt. That is something that nobody wants to see.

Question: So far you have been winning with defense. When will the offense start having a offensive showing?

NYJasonSehorn: Thanks for all the questions and all the support. We'll have to do this another time. As for that last question, the offense will come through in the end.

Chat Host: Jason, thanks for joining us today! We wish you the best and good luck the rest of the season.
