Sweepstakes Description: MGD Trivia Challenge is a Sweepstakes in which participants qualify for a drawing by correctly answering sports trivia questions based on college basketball. Each time during the sweepstakes period, subject to the entry limits below, that a participant correctly answers the sports trivia question presented, the participant earns an entry into random drawings for prizes. Seven rounds of prize drawings will be conducted. Winners will be drawn on March 16, 2001;March 18, 2001;March 23, 2001; March 25, 2001;April 1, 2001; and April 3, 2001 from among all eligible entries received for the applicable prize drawing. 2. Sweepstakes Period: MGD Trivia Challenge begins on March 12, 2001 at 6:00 PM ET and ends on Monday April 2, 2001 at 8:59 PM ET. 3. Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States except California who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and have established an email address as of March 11, 2001.Void in California, Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. You must be a valid SportsLine Member with a valid User ID and Password in order to participate. Employees and consultants of SportsLine.com Inc., CBS Corporation, Inc., Miller Brewing Company, and their immediate families (immediate family defined as parent, sibling or any person residing in the same household) and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, alcoholic beverage retailers are not eligible to participate. 4. How to Register/Enter: To enter the Sweepstakes, visit the verification page located at:http://cbs.sportsline.com/triviachallenge/ . You will be asked to verify the state you live in and your age. You will then be directed to the MGD Trivia Challenge Promotional page. If you are a SportsLine Rewards Subscriber, or a SportsLine Member, you may enter by submitting your SportsLine ID and Password. Non-members may obtain a SportsLine ID and Password by clicking on the Sign Me Up! button located on the splash page and completing the registration form. There is no fee to obtain a SportsLine User ID and Password. Once the participant has finished the registration process they can immediately begin playing by following the directions set forth in the sweepstakes area of the CBS SportsLine Service. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. All entries become the property of the SportsLine.com, Inc. and Miller Lite and will not be returned. 5. How to Play: To enter the Sweepstakes, enter your SportsLine User ID and Password. You will be presented with one (1) college basketball trivia question. If you answer the question correctly, you will receive one (1) automatic entry into the next available drawing and into the Grand Prize Drawing to be conducted at the end of the Sweepstakes. Limit one entry per person, household and e-mail address per day. 6. Winner Selection/Deadline Dates: Sixty-four (64) Prize Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received for the Round 1 drawing. To qualify for the Round 1 Drawing the entry must be received between March 12, 2001 at 6:00 PM ET and 12:00 PM ET on March 15, 2001 The drawings will be conducted on the following day. Eligible Entries received for the first round will be entered into that first round drawing and the grand prize drawing only and will not be rolled over into subsequent round drawings. Thirty-two (32) Prize Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received for the Round 2 drawing. To qualify for the Round 2 Drawing the entry must be received between March 15, 2001 at 12:01 PM ET and March 17, 2001 11:59 AM ET. The drawings will be conducted on the following day. Eligible Entries received for the second round will be entered into that second round drawing and the grand prize drawing only and will not be rolled over into subsequent round drawings. Sixteen (16) Prize Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received for the Round 3 drawing. To qualify for the Round 3 Drawing the entry must be received between March 17, 2001 at 12:00 PM ET and March 22, 2001 at 11:59 AM ET . The drawings will be conducted on the following day. Eligible Entries received for the third round will be entered into that third round drawing and the grand prize drawing only and will not be rolled over into subsequent round drawings. Eight (8) Prize Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received for the Round 4 drawing. To qualify for the Round 4 Drawing the entry must be received between March 22, 2001 at 12:00 PM ET and March 24, 2001 at 11:59 AM ET on. The drawings will be conducted on the following day. Eligible Entries received for the fourth round will be entered into that fourth round drawing and the grand prize drawing only and will not be rolled over into subsequent round drawings. Four (4) Prize Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received for the Round 5 drawing. To qualify for the Round 5 Drawing the entry must be received between March 24, 2001 12:00 PM ET and March 31, 2001 6:59 PM ET. The drawings will be conducted on the following day. Eligible Entries received for the fifth round will be entered into that fifth round drawing and the grand prize drawing only and will not be rolled over into subsequent round daily drawings. Two (2) Prize Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received for the Round 6 Drawing. To qualify for the Round 6 Drawing the entry must be received between March 31, 2001 at 7:00 PM ET and April 2, 2001 at 8:59 PM ET. The drawings will be conducted on the following day. Eligible Entries received for the sixth round will be entered into that sixth round drawing and the grand prize drawing only and will not be rolled over into subsequent round drawings. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the contest period for the Round 7 (Grand Prize) Drawing. Eligible Entries must be received by 8:59 PM ET on April 2, 2001 to qualify for the Round 7 (Grand Prize) Drawing. The random drawings will be conducted under the supervision of SportsLine.com, Inc. whose decisions are final. Odds of winning a round prize or Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for that drawing. Winners will be notified by e-mail within ten (10) days following the drawing date. 7. General Conditions: Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of SportsLine.com, Inc., which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. The operation of the Sweepstakes and interpretation of these rules is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winners. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted except by SportsLine.com, Inc. Prize Winners may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, where legally permissable, within ten (10) days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Entrants further grant to SportsLine.com, Inc. the right to use and publish their proper name and state online, in print and in any other media in connection with the Sweepstakes. Such improper conduct, includes, but is not limited to, falsifying personal information required during Member registration or prize claim, violating any term or condition stated herein, accumulating points or prizes through methods such as automated computer scripts or any other programming techniques, allowing others to use Member's or ENTRANT personal information for the purpose of accumulating points or prizes, or intentionally trying to defraud, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise tamper with the computer programs on this Web site. Member or ENTRANT agrees that SportsLine may void any prize that Member or ENTRANT may have won and/or require the return of any prize that Member or ENTRANT may have won as a result of such improper conduct. Member or ENTRANT further acknowledges that the forfeiture of prize(s) and/or return of any prize(s) shall in no way prevent SportsLine from pursuing other avenues of recourse such as criminal or civil proceedings in connection with such conduct. In addition, SportsLine also reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the promotion process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. 9. Internet: If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of SportsLine.com, Inc. which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, SportsLine.com, Inc. reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, SportsLine.com, Inc. further reserves the right to conduct a drawing to award the Prizes using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. SportsLine.com, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
