1-3 deficit and key O's 5-4 win. Led the club in hits (166), doubles (30)
and RBI (93) and was second to Mickey Tettleton in homers (26 to 21).

Combined with Brother Bill for seven hits (Cal-3 and Bill-4) on August 2,
the night the O's came from a 0-6 deficit at Boston to win after losing 13
of their last 14 games. According to Al Kermisch, the only brother
combo to surpass that combined total was the Waners (Paul and Lloyd) who
had three and five respectively for the Bucs on June 25, 1932.
