The Kelly and Cal Ripken, Jr. Foundation

   The Kelly and Cal Ripken, Jr Foundation was established in 1992 to expand upon the Ripkens' charitable involvement and personal giving.

   As a small, family-managed organization, the Foundation, though supporting a variety of nonprofit community organizations, is currently focusing its support on adult and family literacy through the Baltimore Reads Ripken Learning Center and youth recreation programs in the greater Baltimore area. In addition, the Foundation has recently provided funding for the establishment of the Kelly G. Ripken Program, a resource for thyroid education and patient care at Johns Hopkins.

   The Foundation, a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is privately funded by Kelly and Cal Ripken, Jr. Individuals and companies may also contribute to the Foundation by sending donations to the following address:
