Golf Instruction from The Golf
Channel
The Golf Channel Academy Live presents David Leadbetter, of David
Leadbetter Golf Academy, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. This
instructional is about the hook.
A player who hooks the ball usually has a swing that comes from the
outside, which in turn, automatically sets up the dreaded hook.
To cure the hook, the player should concentrate more on swinging down
the line. In fact, you actually learn how to cut the ball during this
procedure.
Another important fact is to remember to practice with the ball below
your feet. This allows you to swing straight through at the target.
When you finally swing, make sure your hands stay to the left and your
club face is open.
