Question from: Selcuk Sanliturk from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, n.a. Q: How do you feel after playing a brilliant game and yet still losing the game? A: Winning has always been the most important motivator to me. While I give my best each game and hope that my performance reflects my effort, it’s much more important to me that the final score points to a Bulls victory. This season has been a frustrating start for the Bulls, and I am focused on keeping myself and the team motivated so that we can rack up more X’s in the “win” column. Question from: Chris, Andrew, and Marquis from Lancaster, PA Q: When is Scottie Pippen coming back? A: Scottie’s injury is healing well -- he should be back in play around the first of the year, and there’s a slight chance he’ll be back a little earlier. We definitely miss him -- the Bulls are a much better team with Scottie, and I certainly won’t mind him being back on court to divert some of the defense that opposing teams have been putting on me. Question from: Matt Baker from St.Clair, MO Q: Do you really like to eat Big Mac's or wear Hanes? A: I do support all of my endorsement companies -- and I would only work with a company if I believed in them and used the products. I love Hanes’ underwear, (especially the new MJ Collection in which I have helped to create) and yes, I’ve been known to eat a few Big Macs in my lifetime! Question from: Anthony from Laguna Niguel, CA Q: Who is the toughest defender in the NBA you play/played against? A: I’ve played against some great defenders....Earlier in my career, I’d have to say Joe Dumars was one of my toughest....Today, I’d have to say I enjoy the challenge of coming up against Gary Payton, Mitch Ritchmond and Eddie Jones. Question from: Henk Schram from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Holland, ZH Q: Is it really true that you buy a pair of new shoes every single game? A: Actually, I don’t have to buy new shoes, because my contract with NIKE/JORDAN provides me with the shoes. But it is true that I lace up a new pair of shoes for each game -- part superstition, and part comfort/feel of the shoes. |
