Question from: Heather and Tyler. from Rancho Santa Marguerita, Cal Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your free time? A: Free Time? Boy, “free time” is so rare in my life these days. .. However, most people who know me, know that one of my other passions in life is golf. During the off-season, I golf as often as I can. I find the game of golf is a great way for me to get away from the crowds, and I enjoy the competitive, difficult nature of the game. Question from: Arlontus Halliburton from Austin, TX Q: Are you still in negotiations to buy the Chicago Bears It would be nice to see a black owned and operated sports team in professional sports? A: That was actually a rumor about me buying the Chicago Bears. At this point in my life, I really don’t have a desire to own a professional sports team. I’m so competitive and have suce high expectations for athletes, that I feel it would be tough for me to own a team. Question from: Isaiah from Long Beach, CA Q: I saw your commercial from last season where you dunked from the free throw line, did you really take off from the line or was it computer generated? A: The commercial you are referring to is a Nike Commercial, and was filmed last April at the Ünited Center in Chicago. Believe it or not, that was actually me taking off from the free throw line --- there may be doubters out there, but I can still do it, and proved it several times that day. Question from: Michael Angus Bahm from Louisville, Ky. Q: Did you like being in Space Jam? A: I did enjoy being in Space Jam. It was my first movie, and I learned a lot through the experience. It takes a lot of patience and concentration to film a movie where the actors you are acting with are cartoons. There were some long days of filming, as well as all of the work necessary to publicize the film. Overall, I’d have to say it was a good experience, and I enjoyed it -- Hope you did too! Question from: Justin Huston from Frontenac, Ks Q: What made you decide to try your hand at designing clothes? A: I have always been a creative person. My work with my new apparel and shoe line, JORDAN, gives me an outlet for this creativity. I have always enjoyed fashion and clothing, so providing input to the designs of sports-oriented apparel is a great bridge between my love for basketball, and my interest in fashion and trends. |
