Craig Biggio By Allyson Turner A lifetime .292 hitter, Craig Biggio had a career year in 1998, finishing with a .325 batting average, 20 home runs, 88 RBI and 50 stolen bases. In 1997, he led the major leagues and set the Houston Astros' team record by scoring 146 runs, the most in a single-season in the National League in 66 years. Biggio became the first player in major league history to make the All-Star team at catcher (1991) and second base (1992).
