Rob Moore

By Allyson Turner

In his ninth NFL season, Rob Moore has 591 career receptions, 8,747 yards and 44 touchdowns. A three-year letterman at Syracuse, Moore set career receiving marks in yardage (2,122) and touchdowns (22). He became Syracuse's first single-season 1,000-yard receiver. In high school, Moore was an all-New York performer in football, basketball and track, and won all-conference honors in lacrosse. Also, he won the Long Island triple jump title with a leap of 48 feet, 9 inches. After playing five seasons with the New York Jets, Moore was traded by then Jets coach Rich Kotite to the Cardinals on draft day for running back Ronald Moore and first- and fourth-round draft choices. He finished his career with the Jets as the club's seventh all-time leading receiver.
