Vonnie Holliday was the Green Bay Packers first-round selection in the 1998 draft (19th overall). Playing all four years at the University of North Carolina, Holliday had a total of 162 tackles, 11 sacks and six forced fumbles at defensive end. In his rookie season with the Packers, Holliday had 52 tackles, 8 sacks and two fumble recoveries.

What are you in awe of?
I'm in awe of what's going on with me right now in the NFL. Playing with Reggie White, Gilbert Brown and Brett Favre. Playing against the San Francisco 49ers last week. It's crazy. After the game, (Steve Young) came up to me and shook my hand to say great game.

What is one word or phrase that best describes your personality?
Whatever will be, will be.

What is your pet peeve?
I hate when people ask questions they already know the answers to.

What are you intimidated by?
Failure.

If you have to fly across country, who would you like to sit next to?
Vanessa Williams.

Name one of your superstitions.
Never put your hat on the bed.

What is the best part about being a professional athlete? Worst?

  • Best: Going out on Sundays, the fans and how they respond to you.
  • Worst: The feeling after you lose a game.

    It's your last meal, where and what do you eat?
    My mom's. I'd eat her fried chicken, potato salad, chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni, jiffy-mixed corn bread, German chocolate cake for desert and a big old glass of down south sweet iced tea.

    Chris Tucker.

    What is a perfect day?
    Wake up about 12:30 p.m. and I don't have any specific place to be or time to be there. All day I can do whatever I want. I haven't had one of those days in a while.
