Who's giving you a rash this week? Overpaid player? Underhanded agent? Obnoxious team owner? Some other sports wretch? Well, take your best shot. Sign your name, if you dare.

E-mails over cocktails . . . while we can't help but notice a lot of hostility aimed toward Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos, who was beaten to the punch by his manager Wednesday. Davey Johnson quit. Angelos is still stuck with himself.
"A BIT OF ADVICE FOR PETER ANGELOS: You're coarse-featured, 5-foot-4 . . . and a lawyer," writes Orioles' fan Michael Figus. "It would be hard enough to like you even if you were a decent human being.
"It will take a lot more than a legalistic 'outrage' for anyone to sympathize (with you). Don't waste your time."
BUCKSHOT: Michael, you really shouldn't make fun of someone's physical appearance . . . unless you include the nose, too.
"DAVEY JOHNSON IS ONE of the top three managers in the game. And unless the O's get Felipe Alou or Jim Leyland, Angelos is making a grave mistake," warns Kirk Givens.
"Besides, who would want to come to the zoo in Baltimore? Who would want to manage for an idiot owner like Angelos, who is too stupid to realize a good thing when he has it?"
BUCKSHOT: Good questions, Kirk. But don't insult the Baltimore Zoo.
"THE PROBLEM WITH ANGELOS is that he has forgotten the promise he made Baltimore fans when he purchased the team in '93," reminds Bob Hurst. "He promised to hire good baseball people and let them run the team.
"Until recently, we could say that he's done none of that. He was the 'genius' behind hiring Phil (70-71) Regan. Before that, Johnny Oates had to constantly check with Angelos to see if he should start third baseman Leo Gomez.
"Finally, in '96 he got half of his promise right. He brought in Gillick and Johnson. Immediately, the dynamic duo put together a power in the American League. The Orioles will only suffer from the loss of Johnson. Gillick will be right behind him after the '98 season.
"We all know what happened to future Hall of Fame (play-by-play) announcer Jon Miller last year. Angelos has a severe history of ruining the class and tradition of a fabled organization. Baltimore has a George Steinbrenner and Jerry Jones all wrapped up in one."
BUCKSHOT: Your recall is amazing, Bob -- and extremely accurate. Angelos is a further reminder that today's owner tends to overlook tradition. It doesn't have a dollar sign in it.
BUCKSHOT: Just what MLB needs. Another turn-off for the fans.
PETER ANGELOS IS TRYING TO BECOME the next George Steinbrenner," points out Alex Baronian. "Davey Johnson is definitely the (Orioles') best manager since Earl Weaver.
"I can't believe this guy (Angelos) wants the city of Baltimore to actually like him."
BUCKSHOT: Maybe he just thinks the city enjoys forming a good lynch mob.
WHY DOESN'T PETE CALL a spade a spade?" e-mails someone who calls herself Jan The Fan. "Fire Johnson but state the reason: Davey didn't win it all!"
BUCKSHOT: Angelos simply made the situation insufferable for Johnson. No wonder Davey walked away looking like the most relieved man on the planet Thursday.
"HI, MY NAME IS ROCKI, and I am 14 years old," writes Rocki, who is 14 years old. "I live in Maryland, and I am a huge Orioles fan. Peter Angelos is really making me mad. "
Mr. Angelos needs to quit whining, and worry more about re-signing Brady Anderson and Randy Myers, who are both free agents. Well, that's just what I think."
BUCKSHOT: Rocki, enjoyed your note. See that long line forming outside your house? My suggestion to you . . . stand in it.
