Spencer T. Olin Community Golf Course is a shining example of how a corporation truly can give something charitable back to a community. For instance, through the "Spirit of Golf" program, Palmer Golf is able to make the game available to youths, disadva ntaged persons, disabled persons, and others who are not represented in the population of typical golfers.

A number of Palmer Golf-managed facilities have also been very active in high school, junior college, police athletic leagues and other local teams, providing coaching staff for programs that did not or could not offer golf. And many Palmer Golf courses h ost tournaments to benefit local charities.
