Arnold Palmer Golf Management was charged by the University of Wisconsin to implement its nationally recognized quality, customer service, community relations and environmental sustainability program at the University Ridge Golf Course.

One of the nations best golf courses, University Ridge has won several awards of distinction, including being ranked third in Golf Digest's Best New Public Course contest for 1992 -- more than 90 courses were nominated and judged on shot values, design balance, memorability, aesthetics and playability. The Ridge was also called one of the nation's best college courses by the Digest, and in 1993 and 1995, was ranked the third best course in Wisconsin. In 1996, the University Ridge golf shop was voted one of the "Top 100 Golf Shops" in the USA by Golf Shop Operations magazine for the fourth year in a row.

Built on 225 acres of rolling hills and forest land, the course provides some of the most challenging golf in Wisconsin. The University Ridge Golf Course has been the site of the Big Ten Golf Championship and will host the NCAA Women's Championship in 1997. Because of University Ridge's outstanding reputation, this project represented an exciting opportunity to bring Palmer Quality Standards to the students, alumni, children and seniors who play at University Ridge Golf Course.

In response, Arnold Palmer Golf Management committed its vast resources, which includes the nation's most talented professionals and renowned maintenance and operations programs, to elevate the existing course standards as well as preserve the rich cultural and environmental resources of the golf course and grounds.

Arnold Palmer Golf Management's expertise in providing superior course conditions and customer service has exceeded both the University's and their golfers' expectations. Today, University Ridge's country club-like standards makes everyone's golf experience a memorable one.
