Preview: This Kentucky-bred son of Deposit Ticket was third in the Derby Trial, with Shane Sellers up, in his first start in nearly seven months. Trainer Pat Byrne conditioned both Favorite Trick and Countess Diana to victories in the Juvenile Breeders' Cup races last year, but gave up his stable when he opted to become the personal trainer for Black Cash owner Frank Stronach. Sellers was sixth aboard Parade Ground in the Derby. As a 2-year-old, Black Cash was 2-0-2 in four starts, including a victory in the Grade III Grey Breeders' Cup at Woodbine.
