| Outlook | Loaded with talent and potential, the Dallas Burn seem to fall short in the big games.
Burn coach Dave Dir, the only coach to have stayed with the same team since the
inception of MLS, has a solid core of returning players led by 1999 MLS scoring leader Jason Kreis along with
Ecuadorian Ariel Graziani who had a breakout 1999 season. It will be difficult
for Kreis to repeat his scoring numbers from last year, but Graziani should
help ease the load. The Burn should have a consistent and cohesive
attack, but the Burn lack something special and will
find stiffer competition in a better Central Division. |
| Projected 2000 Finish | Third in Central |
