CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) Police have arrested another man on misdemeanor assault charges in the Halloween night brawl involving since-suspended North Carolina basketball players Ed Cota and Terrence Newby.

An arrest warrant was issued for another man, which would bring to four the number of people charged or sought in connection with the altercation.

Trayon Lamont Bolden, 25, was charged by UNC police with two counts of assault inflicting serious injury. Bolden turned himself in Tuesday.

Named in a warrant was Edward Franklin Capel, charged with two counts of misdemeanor simple assault. Authorities said he was out of town.

Neither Bolden nor Capel attends UNC, but they are Chapel Hill roommates. Shortly after the fight, Cota and Newby were charged with three counts each of assault inflicting serious injury and two counts of simple assault and suspended from the team.

Newby said he and Cota were trying to break up a fight between their friends and another group and weren't fighting.
