DAVIE, Fla. (AP) Miami Dolphins rookie running back Cecil Collins was arrested before dawn today on a burglary charge, WSVN-TV reported.

Collins, 23, was charged with two counts of burglary at an occupied dwelling after he tried breaking into a home with two people inside at 5:30 a.m., police told the station.

The arrest of the Dolphins' fifth-round draft pick came in the same town as the team's training camp.

Considered a first-round pick out of McNeese State and Louisiana State, Collins' draft stock fell because of legal problems that included a sex-abuse charge and a failed drug test.

The 5-foot-9, 210-pounder has been out with a leg injury. In eight games, he has 414 yards and two touchdowns.
