SPOKANE, Washington (Ticker) -- Kelly Graves, who had been the women's basketball coach at Saint Mary's the past three seasons, today was named coach of Gonzaga.

Graves led Saint Mary's to 66-26 record the last three seasons, including a 20-10 mark this season that included a victory over Hawaii in the Women's National Invitation Tournament.

"We are extremely excited to get a coach of Kelly's caliber," Gonzaga athletic director Mike Roth said. "When he expressed an interest in the position, we knew we didn't have to look any further to find the right fit for Gonzaga."

Graves replaces Kellee Barney, who resigned March 10 after six seasons. Gonzaga finished 9-19 this season and just 2-12 in the West Coast Conference.
