NEW YORK (AP) Former WNBA coach Jim Lewis is the new women's basketball coach at Fordham, replacing Kevin Morris, who resigned last month after a 4-24 season.

Lewis coached the Washington Mystics in 1997-98. He was at George Mason from 1984-97 and was the school's winningest coach.

Morris' record at Fordham was 79-116. His best season was his first, 1993-94, when the Rams were 21-9 and made their NCAA tournament debut.
