WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) West Chester won the NCAA Division II women's lacrosse title Sunday, with Kathleen Sheehan scoring four goals in an 11-6 victory over Stonehill.

Dulcie Royer added three goals for West Chester (13-2).

Stonehill finished the season 15-6.

The NCAA title is West Chester's first in any sport since the men's soccer team won the 1961 championship.
