EDMONTON (AP) Forward Josh Green accepted the Edmonton Oilers' qualifying offer for next season on Friday.

Financial terms were not announced.

The 24-year-old Green had 10 goals and five assists in 61 games with Edmonton last season. He was sidelined the 2000-01 season after having surgery on both shoulders.

The Oilers also signed forward Jason Chimera to a two-year deal.

Chimera, 23, had 26 goals and 51 assists with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs last season.
