SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) Quest Star edged Union Place by 1½ lengths Monday in the $150,000 National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame Handicap for 3-year-olds at Saratoga.

Quest Star, ridden by Pat Day, ran 1 1/8 miles on the turf course in 1:49 3-5, and paid $25, $10.20 and $2.10. The winner earned $90,000 for Mansell Stables.

Union Place returned $7.90 and $2.10, and Patrol paid $2.10 to show in the five-horse field.
