MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) The Memphis Grizzlies signed former Seattle guard Earl Watson on Tuesday, after the SuperSonics declined to match an offer sheet.

Watson signed the offer sheet July 19, and Seattle had 15 days to match the offer.

Terms were not announced.

Watson averaged 3.6 points, two assists, 1.3 rebounds and 15 minutes for Seattle last season.
