OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) Hank Egan, who spent the last seven years as an assistant coach with San Antonio, ended a brief retirement Tuesday to take the same position with the Golden State Warriors. New Warriors head coach Eric Musselman played for Egan during three seasons at the University of San Diego, where Egan coached for 10 years. Musselman was hired by the Warriors on July 26 - the same day Egan announced his retirement from the Spurs. Egan, who also coached at Air Force for 13 seasons, joins Phil Hubbard and Mark Osowski on the Warriors' staff. Hubbard and Osowski were assistants under Dave Cowens, who was fired last December, and interim coach Brian Winters.
