MORELIA, Mexico (AP) Alex Fernandes and Javier Saavedra each scored three goals as Morelia routed the Kansas City Wizards 6-1 on Wednesday in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinals.

Dario Fabbo scored for Kansas City.

The teams will meet again Aug. 28 in the second leg at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
