Golden State Hires Sterner As Fourth Assistant Coach

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) The Golden State Warriors hired Tom Sterner as an assistant coach on Thursday.

Sterner spent the past eight seasons as an assistant coach and scout with the Orlando Magic, where he worked for two seasons alongside new Warriors coach Eric Musselman. Last season, Sterner also served as co-chairman of the NBA's technology committee.

He joins Hank Egan, Phil Hubbard and Mark Osowski on Musselman's staff.
