Flyers Sign Slaney And Little

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Defenseman John Slaney and goaltender Neil Little, who each played one game with Philadelphia last season, have re-signed with the Flyers.

Slaney, 30, had 20 goals and 39 assists in 64 games with the Phantoms of the AHL, where he won the league's Eddie Shore Award as the most outstanding defenseman. He was acquired by the Flyers in 2001.

Little, 30, made his NHL debut on March 28, a 4-1 loss at Carolina. He had a 2.02 goals against average and a 92.6 save percentage with the Phantoms last season.
