MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Former Minnesota high school star Kelly Miller scored 15 points as the Charlotte Sting beat the Minnesota Lynx 68-62 on Friday night to clinch a playoff spot. Allison Feaster added 13 points to help Charlotte (16-14) move into a second-place tie with Washington with two games remaining in the regular season. Katie Smith scored 24 points for the Lynx (10-20), who entered the game with a season-best three-game winning streak. After Charlotte fell behind 28-20 at halftime, Feaster sparked the Sting by scoring seven points in the first two minutes of the second half. Charlotte took the lead for good at 40-38 on Shalonda Enis' three-point play with 12:59 remaining. Miller, from Rochester, followed with a field goal and 3-pointer to make it 45-40. The Sting led by as many as 11 points before the Lynx cut it to three at 61-58 with 3:43 remaining.
