ATLANTA (AP)_ Nikki Serlenga and Kelly Cagle scored, and Briana Scurry posted her sixth shutout as the Atlanta Beat secured the final WUSA playoff spot with a 2-0 victory over the Philadelphia Charge on Saturday. Atlanta (11-9-1) joined the Charge as repeat playoff teams in the WUSA's second season. Philadelphia (11-4-6) was shut out for just the second time. Scurry equaled her season-high with seven saves. Breakers 1, CyberRays 0 BOSTON (AP) Kristine Lilly scored in the 51st minute as Boston beat San Jose. Lilly has a goal or assist in a WUSA-record 10 straight games. The Breakers (6-8-7) also became the first team in the two-year history of the league to finish a season unbeaten at home (5-0-5). They are a league-worst 1-8-2 on the road, however, which will keep Boston out of the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The CyberRays (8-8-5), who won the WUSA championship last year, were eliminated from playoff contention when Atlanta beat Philadelphia. Freedom 4, Power 2 UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) Mia Hamm, Emmy Barr, and Jacqui Little scored second-half goals as the Washington Freedom beat the New York Power on Saturday night. Bai Jie scored in the 17th minute on the Freedom's only shot on goal in the first half. Emily Janss and Jacelyn Raveia scored for New York. The Freedom (11-5-5) will play either Carolina or Philadelphia in the WUSA playoffs. The Power (3-17-1) finished last in the eight team league.
