DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) Buffythecenterfold won the $150,000 Sorrento Stakes on Saturday at Del Mar, beating Tricks Her by three-quarters of a length in the race for 2-year-old fillies.

Ridden by Matt Garcia, Buffythecenterfold ran 6½ furlongs in 1:17.390, and paid $5.80, $3.20 and $2.60. The filly earned $90,000 to increase her career winnings to $182,160.

Tricks Her's handlers claimed Buffythecenterfold interfered with Tricks Her, but the stewards ruled the winner was not at fault.

Tricks Her returned $3.20 and $2.60, and Indy Groove paid $3.80 to show in the eight-horse field.
