LONG GROVE, Ill. (AP) Marco Dawson fired a final-round 69 to win the Buy.com Tour's LaSalle Bank Open at the Kemper Lakes Golf Course.

Dawson tallied a 12-under 276, three strokes ahead of Darron Stiles. Mark Wurtz, Casey Martin, Arron Oberholser and Doug Barron shared third place, four back of Dawson.

The 39-year-old Dawson collected $81,000 for the victory and jumped from No. 18 to No. 5 on the season money list. The top-15 money winners at the end of the year earn their 2003 PGA Tour cards.

"When that last putt went it, I thought, 'Finally,"' said Dawson, who won for the first time in a combined 309 starts on the Buy.com and PGA Tours.
