DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) Azeri earned a two-length win Sunday in the $300,000 Clement L. Hirsch Handicap.

Azeri, ridden by Mike Smith, completed the 1 1-16 miles in 1:42 3-5. The 4-year-old horse is considered to be the most outstanding older filly competing on U.S. dirt.

Azeri increased her career earnings for the Paulson Living Trust by $180,000 to $1.05 million. She paid $2.20, $2.20 and $2.10. Angel Gift paid $5.40 and $2.10, while Se Me Acabo returned $2.10 to show.
