ATLANTA (AP) Glenn Robinson is ready to move on. Robinson, traded to the Hawks on Aug. 2., has some unpleasant memories from his time with the Milwaukee Bucks. In Atlanta, he's looking for a new start. Last month, Robinson was charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, assault and illegal possession of a firearm after police said he pushed his former fiancee and demanded to be let into her house. "I'm ready to get it over with and move on with my life," Robinson said. "I don't think it's going to distract me at all." Robinson is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 19. He has apologized and said he would face the consequences. Last season, the Bucks didn't even reach the playoffs and finished with a 41-41 record after collapsing in the second half of the season. Robinson's new teammates said the Hawks can only improve on their 33-49 record. The Bucks dealt the 6-foot-7 Robinson for Toni Kukoc, Leon Smith and a first-round draft pick. Robinson said he would balance the Hawks with exactly what they need - a strong shooting threat to complement the inside game of Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Theo Ratliff. "With more perimeter shooting, that's going to help Shareef ... They can't leave me open," Robinson said. "You don't know where it's coming from. We can complement each other. I'm going to be on the perimeter to help if they double-team." Robinson, 29, has an eight-year career average of 21.1 points and 6.2 rebounds, including 20.7 points and 6.2 rebounds last season. He's a two-time All-Star with three years left on an 11-year contract paying him a little more than $7 million a season. The Hawks have given their season-ticket holders a partial money-back guarantee if they don't make the playoffs. "The players are pumped, I'm pumped, and it's a new beginning for me," Robinson said. "I'm just looking to add to the mix,"
