COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Ticker) -- Sacramento RiverCats outfielder Adam Piatt and Nashville Sounds righthander Bronson Arroyo on Monday were named the Pacific Coast League Player and Pitcher of the Week. Piatt hit .517 (15-for-29) with five doubles, two homers and 14 RBI in seven games. Piatt scored nine runs and posted an .897 slugging percentage and a .576 on-base percentage. Piatt, who has hit safely in six straight games and nine of his last 10, had a grand slam during a 10-9 victory in 10 innings over Iowa on Tuesday and drove in four runs during a 14-1 rout of Oklahoma on Friday. Arroyo went 2-0 and allowed just one run and seven hits as he posted back-to-back complete game victories. He struck out 13 and issued only a pair of walks. Arroyo spun a four-hit shutout against Salt Lake on Monday and allowed a run and three hits against Memphis on Sunday, his third complete game win of the season.
