Following the 10th race, power was lost to the room which houses the judges' stand, the photo finish and teletimer booth, and the track announcer.

After a lengthy delay, judges and track management agreed to cancel the 11th and 12th races.

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to our fans and to the horsemen," general manager Bob Galterio said. "It was our intention to resume racing, but the circumstances simply did not permit it."

Racing is scheduled to resume Tuesday night with another 12-race program.
