LOS ANGELES (AP) Dodgers left fielder Brian Jordan was to be re-evaluated again Tuesday after an MRI showed a slight protrusion on his lower back, the team said Monday night.

Jordan, hitting .271 with 13 homers and 50 RBIs, has missed the past three games because of soreness in his back. Doctors believe it's muscle strain, but ordered the MRI in hopes of ruling out the possibility of a bulging disk, an injury that sidelined him for two-thirds of the 1997 season.

Jordan plans to rejoin the team in Montreal on Wednesday, but his status is day to day, said Dodgers spokesman John Olguin.
