WASHINGTON -- Becky Hammon scored 21 points and Sophia Young had 20, leading the San Antonio Silver Stars to a 79-78 victory against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.

The Silver Stars (6-6) nearly blew a 10-point fourth-quarter lead and gave the Mystics a chance to win when Hammon committed an offensive foul with three seconds remaining.

Washington tried to set up for the winning shot, but Lindsey Harding's inbounds pass was stolen by Belinda Snell to seal the game.

Harding scored 18 points, Alana Beard had 17 and Mattee Ajavon 14 for the Mystics (6-6), who have lost five of seven after a strong start.
