With less than two weeks remaining before the World Cup in Brazil, one of the tournament's top players is still not quite in peak physical condition.
Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been nursing a series of minor leg injuries, will not play in the team's friendly against Greece Saturday. Currently, Ronaldo is reportedly nursing a left thigh injury.
This is obviously a measure of precaution, given the fact that Ronaldo hasn't missed time with Real Madrid.
Still, Portugal has to be at least somewhat concerned that Ronaldo won't be getting a full slate of warm-ups in advance of its play in a daunting Group G alongside Germany, Ghana, and the United States.
England loves...Ronaldo?: Speaking of the Portugese star, apparently the youth of Britain wishes he were one of their countryman. Prime Minister David Cameron met with a group of children Thursday and asked which player should top England's World Cup roster. Their answer? Cristiano Ronaldo, apparently.

He and Wayne Rooney would make for a helluva of an attack, that's for sure. Unfortunately for the wee lads Ronaldo is from an entirely different nation.
Good Morning, USMNT: The United States Men's National Team has descended upon the Big Apple as the U.S. will face Turkey in a friendly Sunday at Red Bull Arena. So a couple of the players joined Good Morning America to entertain the crowd.
Naturally 50 Cent was there, so they gifted him his very own national team jersey.
No. 50. Get it?!
