    Analysis

    The narrow win for the Billikens at Duquesne earlier this week might be more the way things look the rest of the way in the A-10, as ranked SLU now wears a bigger target. This was a close game in St. Louis last season and despite a slow start in league play, Mark Schmidt's Bona cannot be overlooked. The Bonnies finally got in the win column against Loyola earlier this week after five combative, single-digit losses, still shoot 3s fairly effectively (37.3%), and have a couple of legit go-to threats in bullish 6-8 ex-Minnesota PF Frank Mitchell (17.3 ppg) and Gardner-Webb transfer G Darryl Simmons II (15.6 ppg; 26 vs. Loyola). Schmidt has set traps like this before in Olean. Play St Bonaventure.

    Analysis

    We cashed fading Vegas in Boston last night and now it appears the Knights are starting their weaker goalie tonight even if he's the No. 1 in Adin Hill, he of the 3.01 GAA. Hint: if the GAA starts with a 3, that ain't great. Hill allowed five to the Leafs on Jan. 15, although Vegas still won at home. I'll take my chances if Toronto gets five again here. Vegas as I said yesterday is pretty banged up. The Leafs were actually supposed to practice outdoors all weekend so the fans could watch. Gotta love Canadians and their hockey. But it's so brutally cold that it was canceled. Who wants to watch hockey practice (not me)? "I'm talking about practice. Practice!"

    We got a MAC matchup with U-Mass (12-8) visiting Buffalo (13-6), and I think the wrong team is favored tonight. Buffalo has lost their last four games, but they were against the four best teams in the conference. They were an underdog in all four games and covered against undefeated Miami-Ohio as a 10.5-point underdog. I have Massachusetts on a neutral court favored by 1, but on Buffalo's home court, the Bulls should be at least -2 in this game. Buffalo shoots 47.7% from the field and 38.8% from three-point range, which ranks 13th in the nation. Buffalo at home gets the win.

The Dolphins can rely on senior forward Shilo Jackson, who has elevated his game lately. He's coming off a 40-minute, 7-for-7 shooting game against LIU in which he finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Lay the points.

    Analysis

    Both teams are playing on back-to-back days because of the winter storm this weekend. Lipscomb just got past Stetson at home on Thursday, while FGCU got drilled at Austin Peay without JR Konieczny. Konieczny is the Eagles' leading scorer (15.7) and rebounder (6.3), so he's the one player FGCU can't afford to lose. These two teams met on Jan. 10 with Lipscomb winning by seven on the road, despite Konieczny scoring 26 and grabbing 10 rebounders. Lipscomb is the deeper team and I think they are in better shape to play two games in 24 hours, especially if Konieczny is out again. I laid -5.5 at FanDuel. Bet up to 6.5.
