Throughout his recruitment, Anthony Bennett kept everyone guessing -- before picking UNLV on Saturday.

Last weekend, he cut Florida and Kentucky from his list of four, leaving the Runnin' Rebels and Oregon. UNLV emerged for Bennett over the last few days, and the nation's top available player made it official on Saturday, committing to the Runnin' Rebels.

The news was first reported by Evan Daniels of Scout.com.

Bennett, a 6-foot-8 forward from Findlay Prep (Nev.), was the last top-10 recruit on the board. He improved his stock dramatically last spring, demonstrating an inside-outside offensive game that is difficult to defend. Bennett can step out and shoot the 3, but he's also effective around the basket.

Bennett's addition immediately moves UNLV's recruiting class into the top 15, as he will join fellow top-50 recruit Katin Reinhardt in Vegas next season. Moreover, Pittsburgh transfer Khem Birch is also joining the fold. In addition to the newcomers, star forward Mike Moser is also returning. UNLV could be a top-10 threat in the fall.
