Who's Playing
Bryant @ Bethune-Cookman
Current Records: Bryant 1-2; Bethune-Cookman 0-3
What to Know
The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats will take on the Bryant Bulldogs at noon ET Saturday at Ocean Center. Both teams were wiped off the court in their previous games and will be looking to bounce back in a big way.
Bethune-Cookman was pulverized by the Utah Utes 86-55 on Monday. Collins Joseph had a rough night: he finished with only four points on 2-for-12 shooting in his 26 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, Bryant found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unfortunate 93-70 punch to the gut against the Clemson Tigers on Monday. Bryant's defeat came about despite a quality game from Peter Kiss, who had 24 points in addition to eight rebounds.
The Wildcats are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the squad is 0-2-1 ATS when expected to lose.
Bethune-Cookman is now 0-3 while Bryant sits at 1-2. A couple last-season numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Bethune-Cookman is stumbling into the matchup with the 354th fewest points per game in college basketball, having accrued only on average. But the Bulldogs are 50th worst in college basketball in points allowed per game, with 75.6 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
