Bracketology: Bracket final, Michigan final No. 1

The final projected bracket of the season is up.  I am sticking with Michigan as the fourth No. 1 seed, even if Michigan State finishes off the win in the Big Ten title game.

I think it's possible for the committee to rightly disagree, but not with Virginia.  The Cavs resume doesn't measure up to the Wolverines, Wisconsin or even Iowa State, which isn't getting any discussion.

At the bottom, don't be surprised of any of the last four in get left out, but that's especially true of SMU.  The Mustangs have something of a classic NIT profile.  They only have four top 100 wins, although all in the top 50 and against tournament teams.  They also have three bad losses, and what is often fatal for a team near the bottom of the bracket, a non-conference strength of schedule ranked 294th.

Enjoy the bracket selection show on CBS and at 8 PM on CBS Sports Network.
