Brandon Austin no longer with Oregon
Oregon announced that talented freshman Brandon Austin is no longer with the team.
Freshman Brandon Austin is no longer with the Oregon program, the school announced on Monday.
It was previously reported on Monday that sophomore point guard Dominic Artis was transferring, and the school said both Austin and Artis are "not currently participating in any team activities."
Austin transferred to Oregon from Providence in early January, after getting suspended and then leaving the Friars. A Wall Street Journal report in March linked Austin and fellow suspended freshman Rodney Bullock to a sexual assault case back in Providence.
Austin, a 6-foot-6 swingman, was a top-50 commit coming out of high school -- but it appears he could soon be on his third school, without playing a college game yet.
